Cluff Lake
- The Cluff Lake mine is now decommissioned, but still employs staff that continue to monitor the environment.
- The Cluff Lake operation meets ISO 14001 standards for environmental management; the first decommissioning effort to ever receive this certification.
- 800,000 trees have been planted as part of decommissioning efforts.
- Alex Flett, a local trapper and fisher, helped geologists explore the Cluff Lake area, and later, along with four of his children, worked at the mine.
