Receipt and Processing of McArthur River Ore at the McClean Lake Operation
AREVA Resources is proposing to transport high grade ore slurry originating from the McArthur River underground uranium mine, to the McClean Lake JEB mill utilizing specially designed IP-2 containers on existing public highways over a distance of 920 kilometres.

Caribou Project
AREVA has located a small uranium deposit within the area of the McClean Lake operation. We are proposing to extract this deposit using the conventional open pit mining method. The already existing mill, tailings management facility and water treatment plants at McClean lake would be used to process the Caribou ore.
